The level of healthy behavior and academic procrastination among secondary school students in Kasaba Al-Karak schools AL-Jordan

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of healthy behavior and the level of academic procrastination among a sample of general secondary school students in Karak Kasaba schools. The number of them was (295) students, who were chosen by the simple random method, where the study standards were distributed to (315) students, (302) of them were retrieved, and after entering the data, (12) questionnaires that were not valid for analysis were excluded, and thus the final study sample was formed for the part The descriptive form of (290) students, and two scales were developed. The first: Healthy Behavior Scale (34) paragraphs, and the second: Academic Procrastination Scale (38) paragraphs. The two scales were prepared and their psychometric characteristics were verified. The results of the study were that the level of healthy behavior among high school female students in Karak Qasaba schools was average for all dimensions, with an arithmetic mean (2.96). ), and the level of academic procrastination among high school female students in Kasaba Al-Karak schools was average for all dimensions, with an arithmetic mean of (3.15).
