Academic professionalism of faculty members Based on the philosophy of the pioneering university

Abstract

University education is one of the most important requirements of civilized progress, which is witnessed in the twenty-first century, which is characterized by rapid growth in all different fields of life. It also contributes to the advancement of societies and the achieving their ambitions and aspirations of their children, by providing the community with competencies and human capable of participating in various fields of development. And since the faculty members are the active element in the university education carrying out its tasks and roles, developing and advancing it and overcoming its problems, so universities seek to develop the faculty members’ performance and reach the distinguished professional level, Universities are also interested in modern trends that may contribute to improving their performance for their various roles. The university's entrepreneurship philosophy is one of the most important modern trends that can contribute to strengthening the academic professionalism of faculty members. The research aimed to strengthen the academic professionalism of faculty members through the entrepreneurship philosophy of the university. Among the most important findings of the research: Egyptian universities adopt a future vision for the reform of university education, and the consolidation of the excellence of the performance of faculty members. Giving due care to the sustainable professional development of faculty members to increase their abilities to keep pace with global changes. Training students on creativity and innovation, refining their ideas and helping them design prototypes of their ideas and turn them into realistic projects capable of growth and development.
