A proposed educational policy for parallel education at Al-Azhar University in light of the requirements of the productive University

Abstract

The current study aimed to draw up an educational policy for parallel education at Al-AzharUniversity considering the requirements of the productive university, So The study used the evidence-based policy EBP methodology, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the study was conducted in five parts. The first part: (the general framework of the study and included the problem and its dimensions; The second part included the theoretical literature of parallel education as one of the university’s productive formulas; The third part included the analysis of EBP for parallel education at the University of Al-Azhar, The fourth part, and the field framework of the study included: where the researchers designed a questionnaire in 57 phrases and two main dimensions: institutional capacity and educational effectiveness. The study was applied to 614 faculty members at Al-Azhar University، Statistically significant for the benefit of practical colleges; professor category; and males from the study sample, And The fifth part. The general framework contained the proposed policy: It included six steps according to the Fowler's method for drawing up educational policies: (defining the issue, setting the agenda, formulating policy, adopting policy, implementing policy, policy evaluation), the study reached a proposed policy that reflects the values of innovation, excellence in order to achieve Al-Azhar’s mission And its universality in fourteen dimensions: (Strategic planning - organizational structure - leadership and governance - ethics - administrative apparatus - material and administrative resources - community participation - continuous evaluation and quality management - students - academic standards - programs and courses - teaching and learning and their facilities - faculty members - evaluation continuous).
