Time management and its relationship to social responsibility among a sample of female students of the College of Law and Judicial Studies at the University of Jeddah

Abstract

The current study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship between time management and social responsibility among students of the University of Jeddah, in addition to identifying the differences between high and low social responsibility in the dimensions of time management, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive, correlative and comparative approach was used, and both the time management scale and Social responsibility  scale (prepared by the researcher), the time management scale were applied on a sample of (100) students of the College of Law and Judicial Studies at the University of Jeddah. The results of the statistical analysis of the data showed that there were statistically significant correlations at the level (0.01) between the dimensions of planning, organization, implementation, monitoring and all of the responsibility towards (self, female colleagues, university community, homeland, and the total degree of social responsibility), while there were no significant correlations Statistically between (planning, organizing, and the total degree of time management) and social responsibility towards the family. Also, there were no statistically significant differences in time management according to the academic level, while there were differences in the implementation dimension among the sample members according to the academic level in favor of the seventh level, where the arithmetic average was 22.13. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in time management according to academic level. Based on the research results, a number of recommendations were formulated.
