A Suggested Proposal to Decrease the Problems of Professional Alienation of Social Workers in the Development Field

Abstract

This study aimed to use the evidence-based professional practice to lessen the problems of professional alienation among social workers in the development field. The current study is classified within the experimental research so the field study relied on the case study approach with the use of the experimental approach that depends on the experimental design, one-group design. The research sample consisted of 10 social workers in the development field at the Integrated Services Association in Agouza, who have experienced working in the development field ranging from 5 to 15 years, hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a Bachelor’s in Sociology. Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the results showed the validity of the main question of the study represented in “To what extent can the use of evidence-based practice affect the mitigation of the problems of professional alienation for social workers in the development field?” “Does evidence-based practice affect the decrese of deficit as a dimension of professional alienation?” The validity of the second, third hypotheses, and fourth main hypothesis represented in “To what extent can practice based on evidence affect the decrease of the problems of non-meaningful, non-normative, pessimistic and dissatisfied?"
