Abstract

This research aimed to study the Islamic educational delimitations of the relationship among peers (colleagues) of teachers, in their professional and human aspects, and the extent to which the Egyptian teachers are committed to such delimitations. This study was conducted to a sample of Egyptian teachers in public schools and Azhar institutes, on March 2021 A.D. The results of the study revealed that the degree of practice of the total humanitarian aspects came first, followed by the professional aspects. In the humanitarian aspects, the dimension of commitment to the values of Islamic brotherhood in times of crisis came in the first rank, followed by the dimension of commitment to the values of Islamic brotherhood in normal times. In the professional aspect, the dimension of controls of dealing among male and female colleagues came in the first rank, followed by the dimension of honorable competition, while the dimension of knowledge sharing and its ethics came in the last rink. The study also revealed that there are statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the employer variable about professional aspects in favor of the “workers” in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif"; and according to the variable of the location of the school / institute, in favor of the "village" category; and according to the variable of the nature of the school / institute in favor of the "governmental" category. Such differences centered on the two dimensions of honest competition and the delimitations of dealing with male and female colleagues. The study recommended the necessity of providing courses and training programs to develop a culture of knowledge sharing among Egyptian teachers, activating sharing lessons among teachers, taking into account the nature of women when distributing educational burdens, investing their abilities in what men cannot do with the same efficiency, and organizing school trips for teachers once in a while to strengthen the relationship among them outside the official workplaces, and establishing a solidarity system to follow up and care for the families of the deceased teachers financially, educationally and socially.
