Psychological Hardness and Its Relationship with Future Anxiety among a Sample of University Students

Abstract

The current research aimed to investigate the relationship between psychological hardness and future anxiety among a sample of university students. The research sample consisted of (228) students from the Faculty of Education for Boys, Al-AzharUniversity in the academic year (2020-2021 AD). The mean age of the participants was (20.08) year old and standard deviation (0,88). The researcher adminisitered the psychological hardness scale and future anxiety scale. The results of the research revealed that there is a negative correlation with statistical significance between psychological hardness and future anxiety among university students and that there were no statistically significant differences in psychological hardness due to the variable of specialization (scientific - literary) among university students. There were no statistically significant differences in future anxiety due to the variable of specialization (scientific - literary) among university students.
