Abstract

The current study investigates the effectiveness of occupational intervention based on (focusing on task) model in ameliorating the intensity of maladaptive problems among juvenile children with recurring delinquency after  exposure to occupational qualification program as well as defining the consequences of these problems on (psychological, social and occupational maladjustment). The current study is based on an experimental approach. Twenty participants were divided into two groups: experimental and control group. Quantitative and qualitative analysis show significant differences between average scores of experimental group in pre and post measurements as well as remarkable Mitigation in psychological and social maladjustment intensity.  There were no significant differences between average scores of experimental group in pre and post measurements in occupational maladjustment. This was attributed to administrative, technical and financial constraints that affected occupational performance negatively and also increased maladjustment level.
