Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to enhance skills in writing hamzahs of fifth-grade primary students through the strategy of individually prescribed instruction, To achieve this objective, a list of Hamzahs writing skills and a diagnostic test for these skills were prepared. In addition, experimental treatment materials were developed, consisting of a student’s book designed to improve Hamzahs writing skills according to the procedures of individually prescribed instruction and a teacher’s guide. A random sample of (60) students was selected and divided into two groups: the experimental group, comprising (30) students from El-Shaheed Mohamed Salah Experimental School who were taught using individually prescribed instruction, and the control group, comprising (30) students from El-Shaheed Ehab Morsi Language School who were taught using the traditional method, Due to the nature of the study, a quasi-experimental design was determined (experimental and control group design with pre-test and post-test measures), The results revealed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups in the post-administration of the Hamzahs writing skills test, in favor of the experimental group, The findings also indicated a very large effect size, confirming the effectiveness of individually prescribed instruction in developing Hamzahs writing skills among fifth-grade primary students.
