The researcher based the study on reviewing previous studies, relevant literature on learning and program outcomes in curriculum and teaching methods departments of physical education, the national academic reference standards for the physical education sector, and conducted personal interviews with a number of faculty members from Egyptian universities. Additionally, records and documents were analyzed, and a questionnaire was administered to assess the learning outcomes of the program in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods in Physical Education at the Faculty of Sports Science, Al-Azhar University.
