Abstract

          The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a proposed training program based on artificial intelligence tools in developing digital teaching skills among social studies teachers. The research followed the experimental approach with its quasi-experimental design with a single group and applied research tools to it before and after implementing the program. A list of digital teaching skills, a list of artificial intelligence tools suitable for digital teaching skills, and a training guide were prepared. The research sample consisted of (28) social studies teachers in the Assiut Al-Azhar region. The research tools were represented by an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of digital teaching skills and an observation card to measure the performance aspect of those skills among teachers. After the training was completed and the tools were applied, the average scores of the teachers trained on the research tools were calculated before and after implementing the program. The results revealed the effectiveness of the proposed training program based on artificial intelligence tools in developing digital teaching skills among teachers. This appeared in the average scores of the teachers trained on the research tools before and after in favor of the post-application. Some recommendations and suggestions were presented.
