The research aims to identify the theoretical foundations of the digital transformation approach and the reality of administrative performance at Al-Azhar University in preparation for benefiting from this approach in developing administrative performance so that it leads to how to use the techniques of this transformation by the university's administrative staff in achieving the goals that this transformation seeks to achieve and is consistent with the university's goals, especially in rental operations related to digital planning, digital ,organization digital, guidance and digital control. To achieve this, the research used the descriptive approach to analyze these foundations in order to come up with results and present recommendations that contribute to activating and supporting the digital transformation in developing the administrative performance in Al-Azhar University.
