The Extent Of Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Applications In Achieving Organizational Flexibility At Al-Azhar University According To The Views Of Academic Leaders

The study explores the extent to which artificial intelligence (AI) applications can be beneficial to achieve organizational flexibility at Al-Azhar University. It relied on the descriptive approach (in its quantitative method), and it used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The study population was represented by the academic leaders of the faculties of Al-Azhar University (deans, vice deans, heads of departments), and the study sample was (n=72) academic leaders at Al-Azhar University. The study concluded that the possibility of benefiting from AI applications in achieving organizational flexibility at Al-Azhar University from the point of view of academic leaders came with a high degree of benefit. It ranged on the dimensions between (2.261-2.443), with a degree of benefit between (medium and large), in the order of the third dimension, operational flexibility, tactical flexibility, and then strategic flexibility. The study also concluded that there were statistically significant differences between the responses of sample members according to the variable of training courses in favour of those who obtained training courses in the digital field. Also, there were differences according to the variable of specialization (Arabic and Sharia, Human Sciences, and Applied Sciences). While there are no differences according to the job title variable (Dean, Vice Dean, Head of Department) and the variable of years of experience (less than 5 years, from 5 years to less than 10 years, more than 10 years). The study recommends the necessity of taking actual measures to adopt AI applications in administrative work at the university due to the positive results it achieves in enhancing organizational flexibility at the university according to the results reached by the study.
