Anticipating the role of the social case work method in alleviating the problems of international students in light of contemporary changes

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the problems of International students in light of contemporary changes, and to determine the role of the social  case woek method  specialist in confronting the problems of International students at Al-Azhar University in light of contemporary changes, as well as to anticipate the future of the role of the social  case woek method in alleviating the severity of the problems of International students in light of contemporary changes. To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive Method was used using the case study method, as well as the use of a social survey. The research relied on a questionnaire applied to a sample of International students at the Faculty of Education for Boys, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, about "the problems of International students" at Al-Azhar University in light of contemporary changes, as well as a standardized interview guide for experts from faculty members at the Faculty of Social work , Al-Azhar University in Cairo. The research results identified the problems of International students in light of contemporary changes, as economic and financial problems came in first place with a strong arithmetic mean, followed in second place by educational and academic problems with an average arithmetic mean, followed in third place by individual and social problems with an average arithmetic mean, and finally psychological problems with an average arithmetic mean. The role of the social  case woek method specialist in confronting traditional problems among incoming students was also identified and came in first place with an average arithmetic mean, while the role of the social  case woek method specialist in confronting emerging problems came in second place with an average arithmetic mean. and Anticipating the role of the social case work method in alleviating the problems of international students in light of contemporary changes Was suggested and purposed.
