Abstract

The current research Aimed to identify the social problems faced by the families of leprosy patients. To achieve the study's objectives, the research was conducted on a sample of 114 individuals from the families of leprosy patients. A tool was used to measure the level of social problems within the study sample. The findings revealed that these families suffer from various social issues, including weak social relationships, feelings of social stigma, and fear and anxiety about contracting the disease. Ultimately, the study identified the role of social work in alleviating the social problems experienced by the families of leprosy patients.
