Developing the Management Processes of Public Education Schools in Urban Abha in Light of the Organizational Dexterity Approach

Abstract

The study aimed to identify mechanisms for developing the management processes of public education schools in urban Abha in light of the organizational dexterity approach. The research adopted the descriptive methodology, utilizing a questionnaire as the main research tool, which was administered to a sample of school principals, supervisors, and teachers in public education schools in urban Abha, totaling 328 participants.
The study findings indicated that the respondents strongly agreed on the mechanisms for improving the planning, communication, and decision-making processes in school management within the framework of organizational dexterity. Additionally, no statistically significant differences were found among the responses regarding these development mechanisms based on the participants' current job positions.
The research proposed several mechanisms for improvement, including:

For planning: Conducting workshops on strategic planning for all school staff and organizing periodic meetings to discuss future planning.
For communication: Utilizing modern communication technologies, creating digital platforms for school communication, and forming support teams to manage and analyze information while addressing communication barriers.
For decision-making: Holding meetings with staff to explain the benefits of participatory decision-making and establishing a structured training plan to enhance decision-making skills.

Based on these findings, the study recommends organizing workshops on the requirements for achieving administrative excellence in public schools and applying organizational dexterity principles in school management.
