Abstract

The research aimed to develop a suggested educational vision to confront the ethical challenges related to artificial intelligence applications used in education, by presenting the most prominent ethical challenges related and ways to confront those challenges from an educational perspective. The descriptive survey approach was used by using the (questionnaire) tool to reveal the most important proposed mechanisms that can contribute to confront the ethical challenges of artificial intelligence applications used in education in light of the growth of artificial intelligence programs and technologies in the contemporary world, from the point of view of education experts in Egypt. The tool was applied to a sample of (102) experts. The research, in its two parts, reached a set of results that honestly express the most prominent proposed mechanisms to confront the ethical challenges related to artificial intelligence applications used in education, and strongly indicate the extent of ethical commitment in the life cycle of any application to confront the accompanying challenges. In the end, the research recommended, at the general level, the necessity of the education system adopting the guiding principles of responsible artificial intelligence, and spreading awareness on the widest scale about those principles. At the private level; The research recommended the importance of supporting and establishing the idea of establishing an ethical charter as a guiding document and standard reference for the use of artificial intelligence applications in education, and taking measures to activate it so that it is adhered to and becomes an integral part of the ethical system adopted by all members of the learning community.
