Abstract

The current research aimed to enhance achievement and the moral values of first-year Azhari preparatory students through using digital stories in teaching the Prophetic biography. The research sample consisted of (60) female students from the Azhar area in eastern Nasr City, representing first-year Azhari preparatory students; they were divided into two groups, one experimental and the other control, with each group consisting of (30) female students. The research utilized both the descriptive analytical method and the quasi-experimental method. The current research aims to answer the main question regarding the effectiveness of digital stories in teaching the Prophet's biography to develop achievement and ethical values among Al-Azhar preparatory stage students, In order to achieve the research goal, a teacher's guide and a student booklet were prepared for teaching the Prophet's biography using digital stories, as well as the preparation of achievement test and a scale for moral values. The quantitative analysis of the data resulting from the pre and post tests demonstrated the effectiveness of digital stories in teaching the Prophet's biography in developing achievement and moral values among students in the Azhari preparatory stage. The research recommends enhancing these values and including them in the fundamentals of religion curriculum under the Prophet's biography unit, as well as training teachers to use digital stories in teaching.
