Risk-taking behavior and its relationship to Mindfulness and Job satisfaction among miners

Abstract

    The current research aims to identify the relationship between risk-taking behavior and both (Mindfulness and job satisfaction) among miners, and to verify the possibility of predicting risk-taking behavior from both Mindfulness and job satisfaction, and to reveal differences in risk-taking behavior, Mindfulness, and job satisfaction according to For the age variable (from 25-35 years - more than 35 years) and education level (intermediate - high). (120) miners participated in the research, and the research tools consisted of a risk behavior scale (prepared by the researcher) and a Mindfulness scale (prepared by Abdul Rahman, 2020). And the job satisfaction scale (prepared by the researcher). The results resulted in a statistically significant relationship between (risk-taking behavior - Mindfulness, satisfaction with work). There were statistically significant differences in risk-taking behavior according to the age variable in favor of age from 25 to 35 years. And there are differences in the level of education in favor of higher education. There are also differences in age in favor of the age from 25 to 35 years, and there are no differences in the level of education in the Mindfulness scale. There are also statistically significant differences in age in favor of tقربhe age from 25 to 35 years, and the level of education is in favor of Higher education in job satisfaction scale ,Finally, the results indicated that risk-taking behavior among miners can be predicted through Mindfulness and job satisfaction. The results of the research were discussed, and some recommendations and proposed research were presented.
