Efforts of Civil Society Organizations to Provide Social Services to Newlyweds

Abstract

The study aimed to: determine the extent to which civil society organizations undertake efforts that help newlyweds who are about to get married, which were represented in (social services, economic services, health services, and psychological services. It was also concerned with identifying the obstacles that prevented them from being achieved, and arriving at a proposed vision to support these efforts and completed To the evaluative studies, the study relied on the social survey approach, and used a form (scale) applied to the beneficiaries of the organizations, their number is (250), and (a semi-structured interview guide) applied to the experts and specialists, their number is (15), both types and in the style of the comprehensive quotient of the beneficiaries of the organizations’ services and their number. (250) individuals, and a sample of (15) experts and specialists. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the presence of statistically significant differences between the degrees of the level of provision of social, economic, psychological, and health services in civil society organizations, which indicates a low level of provision of social services. And economic services, where these services came in a (low) degree, while health and psychological services came in a (medium) degree. The results also revealed that there are obstacles that hinder the performance of civil society organizations among the study sample, and then the researcher developed a proposed vision to support these efforts.
