Abstract

The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a guidance program in group work in achieving social support for families of children with multiple disabilities. It tested the relationship between using the guidance program in group work and achieving social support in its various dimensions for families of children with multiple disabilities. The study was experimental, employing an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design for one experimental group consisting of 14 participants. The results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test in the dimension of informational support. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test in the dimension of material support. Statistically significant differences were also found in favor of the post-test in the dimension of emotional support. Overall, the study found statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test on the total social support scale.
