Abstract

      The research aimed to identify the Current state of applying digital transformation at Al-Azhar University, in the fields of (administration, education and training, scientific research, community service). The research used the descriptive approach, and also relied on the questionnaire as a tool to identify the reality of applying digital transformation at Al-Azhar University from the point of view of the study sample. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (377) faculty members, and the research resulted in a set of results, including: the weak availability of the digital transformation application at Al-Azhar University in the four fields under study; The arithmetic mean of the total questionnaire reached (1.30), with a percentage of (43.30%), and the reality of applying digital transformation in the field of education and training came in first place in terms of ranking, followed by applying digital transformation in the field of community service in second place, then applying digital transformation in... The field of scientific research is ranked third, and finally the application of digital transformation in the field of management is ranked fourth. The research has found a set of mechanisms (organizational, cultural, human, material and technical) that may help in implementing digital transformation at Al-Azhar University.
