Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of the mind mapping strategy in obtaining The rulings on the science of religious obligation and the skills of solving its problems among female students of the third grade of Al-Azhar preparatory school. It was applied to a sample of (60) female students from the third grade of Al-Azhari preparatory school at the (Ajamiyyin Girls Institute) of the Fayoum Al-Azhar region, they were divided into two groups: (experimental) who studied using the mind mapping strategy, and (control) who studied in the usual way. The researcher used the following tools: (A test for achieving science of religious obligation- the test of solving science of religious obligation problems skills). After applying the experimental processing materials to the sample members, which are (the teacher’s guide - the student’s book). And a pre- and post- applying of the research tools; the research found that there was a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group students in the pre- and post-measurement of the test for achieving science of religious obligation in favor of the post-measurement. There was a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group’s students in the pre- and post-measurement of the test of solving science of religious obligation problems skills, in favor of the post-measurement. Which confirms the effectiveness of the mind mapping strategy to provide them with the rulings on the science of religious obligation and the skills of solving its problems, the results of the research also revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post-measurement of the test for achieving science of religious obligation in favor of the experimental group. There was a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post-measurement test of solving science of religious obligation problems skills in favor of the experimental group. Which confirms the importance of the effectiveness of the mind mapping strategy to acquire the rulings on the science of religious obligation and the skills of solving its problems.
