Academic Integrity and Its Relationship with Academic Entitlement and Mastery Motivation Among Sample of Students Coming to Graduate

Abstract

               The current research aimed to identify the relationship between Academic Integrity and Academic Entitlement , as well as to identify the relationship between Academic Integrity and Mastery Motivation among sample of Students Coming To Graduate , Furthermore, to identify  the differences in Academic Integrity  in the light of the variables of gender ( males & females )  and Academic Specialization, and revealed the role of Academic Entitlement And Mastery Motivation in predicting the Academic Integrity of the research sample , The main research sample consisted of (648) male and female Students Coming To Graduate whose ages ranged between (21-22) years , with a mean of (21,47) and a standard deviation of (0,61) , The researcher used the comparative descriptive approach to achieve the objectives of the research , and to verify this , three scales were applied : The Academic Integrity scale ( prepared by the researcher) , Academic Entitlement scale (  prepared by the researcher) , And Mastery Motivation scale ( prepared by Albana and Tahoon , 2019 ) , The Results of the research found that there is a Negative correlation between Academic Integrity and Academic Entitlement at the level of significance (0.01) ,  In Addition , the findings show that  there is a Positive correlation between Academic Integrity and Mastery Motivation at the level of significance (0.01) . The findings indicate that there were no significant differences in  Academic Integrity According to gender and Academic Specialization. They Also suggested that Academic Integrity can predicted through Academic Entitlement And Mastery Motivation.
