Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of an electronic learning environment based on the SWOM model to develop life management skills among students of the Faculty of Home Economics, Al-Azhar University, and to reveal the extent of the continuous impact of the electronic learning environment based on the swom model. The rsearcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the semi-experimental approach with two equal groups(control and experimental) based on the design of posttreatments. The research sample consisted of(100) female students from the first year at the Faculty of Home Economics, Al-Azhar University, who were randomly divided into two groups of (50 female students) and a female officer of (50 female students). The experimental treatment material was an electronic learning environment based on the SWOM model. the research tool was prepared, namely (life management skills scale). After applying the field experiment, the data was statistically analyzed and many results were reached, the most important of which: the existence of a statistically  significant differences at (0,01) level between the average grades of the students of the two experimental groups studied (using the electronic learning environment based on the swom model) and the control(studied in the usual way) life management skills as a whole and in each of its dimensions in the favor of the experimental group. The results also showed statistically significant differences  at(0,01)level between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group in the pre and post test of the scale of life management skills as a whole in all its dimensions for the benefit of the application dimension, The research showed that the e-learning environment based on the SWOM model is effective in developing life management skills among the treatment group , and it also resulted that there is no statistically significant difference at (0,01) level between the average scores of female students of the experimental group in the dimensional and follow up of the life management skills scale.
