Organizational Intelligence among the Academic Leaders in the faculties of Al-Azhar University is an approach for activating their Administrative Excellence

Abstract

The research aimed at identifying the theoretical foundations of Administrative Excellence and Organizational Intelligence in educational institutions, identifying the level of practicing the Academic Leaders in the faculties of Al-Azhar University for (Administrative Excellence and Organizational Intelligence) from the faculty members' point of view, revealing statistically significant differences between the responses of the research sample about the level of practicing the Academic Leaders for (Administrative Excellence and Organizational Intelligence) according to the variables (job grade- administrative position- faculty type- faculty accreditation- gender), as well as revealing the statistically significant relationship between the level of practicing the Academic Leaders for Organizational Intelligence and their Administrative Excellence, and presenting a proposed perspective for activating Administrative Excellence among the Academic Leaders in the faculties of Al-Azhar University in the light of the Organizational Intelligence approach. The research used the descriptive method to achieve its goals and a questionnaire applied to a random sample of (391) faculty members of the faculties of Al-Azhar University. The field study showed that the level of practicing the Academic Leaders for the standards of Administrative Excellence from the point of view of the sample was (medium), with a weighted mean of (1.79), and for the dimensions of organizational intelligence from the point of view of the sample was (medium), with a relative weight of (1.87), and the research showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the responses of the research sample about the level of practicing the Academic Leaders for (Administrative Excellence and Organizational Intelligence) due to the variables of the research; The job grade variable was for (professor), the administrative position variable was for (occupied), the faculty type variable was for (practical), the faculty accreditation variable was for (accredited), and the gender variable was for (males). The research revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the level of practicing the Academic Leaders for Organizational Intelligence and their Administrative Excellence.
     Finally, the two researchers presented a proposed perspective for activating Administrative Excellence among Academic Leaders in the faculties of Al-Azhar University in the light of the organizational intelligence approach.
