The social return of entrepreneurship programs in some Egyptian universities in facing the unemployment problem of young graduates

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of the social return of the programs of entrepreneurship clubs in universities to reduce the problem of unemployment of young graduates, and to identify the obstacles to the effectiveness of these programs in reaching the target social return, and to reach proposals for activating these programs. The questionnaire included 240 young graduates attending these clubs, and the study found results, the most important of which is that the questionnaire as a whole was achieved with a strong degree (2.57) and a relative importance (85.81%), which means that there is convergence and consensus on the existence of social returns, even if they are less than expected due to the availability of A group of obstacles that prevent it, and then the study sample proposed a number of proposals, where the third axis related to proposals came in the first place with a strong verification degree (2.81), and with relative importance (93.75%). ) with a relative importance (82.18%), and the most important obstacles were, respectively: the presence of some administrative difficulties and lengthy procedures when setting up any project, the poor culture of university youth about entrepreneurship programs and projects, the time for entrepreneurship programs and training on them is insufficient, the poor ability to bear the costs of marketing products The project, and the lack of capabilities available for entrepreneurship programs and projects, as the first axis related to the reality of the social return came in the last order with a strong verification score (240) with a relative importance (80.00%), which means that there are social returns accruing to young graduates
