The Required Training Needs for the fatwa Committees Members in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Light of some Variables

Abstract

The purpose of the current research was to identify the required training needs for members of the Fatwa Committees in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in light of some variables; To attain the purpose of the research, the researcher utilized the descriptive approach. Instrument of the study was a questionnaire to determine the required training needs for the Fatwa Committees members in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif according to experts and specialists, then it was applied to a number (128) specialists in Sharia sciences, especially jurisprudence and its origins, curriculum, and instruction (Islamic Studies), (20) experts, and (91) members of the Fatwa Committees in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. Consequently, the most important results of the research were represented in determining a list of the necessary training needs for members of the fatwa committees in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, which included (123) sub-training needs, falling under (5) main areas. Results also revealed that there was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the members on the total score for the importance of training needs according to the variable of the group of work, where the (p) value was (0.388), which is a statistical significance. In addition, results revealed that there was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the members on the total score for the importance of training needs according to the variable of Fatwa Committees members' specialization in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, where the (p) value was (0.902), which is statistically significant. In light of this, a set of recommendations were presented, and a set of research suggestions related to the topic of the research were presented.
