The role of student activities in consolidating the cultural identity of secondary school students and ways of deepening it from their point of view

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the role of student activities in consolidating the cultural identity of secondary school students, and to identify the proposed ways to deepen it from their point of view. To achieve this goal, the study used the descriptive approach and relied on a questionnaire to collect data. Secondary schools are distributed according to the variables of gender (male / female), specialization (literary / scientific), grade (first / third), and governorate (Cairo / Buhaira / Qena). The results indicated that the reality of the role of student activities in consolidating the cultural identity of secondary school students was medium, and that the approval of the proposed ways to deepen it was medium. and governorate, while statistically significant differences were found between the responses of the sample members on the two axes of the questionnaire according to the grade variable, where the value of (T) for the two axes was statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05), and the differences were in favor of third-grade male and female students compared to first-grade male and female students.
