Abstract

In 2015, Egypt launched its vision for sustainable development in 2030, seeking development and modernization in various fields. This led to a comprehensive and rapid movement towards development and construction, with the most notable feature being the construction of the New Administrative Capital. This is one of the fourth-generation cities and has been named the "New Republic", a concept that reflects a new stage in Egypt's history, where challenges are transformed into promising and unprecedented development opportunities. The aim of this research was to establish a set of supportive values for the cultural development of the New Republic, in light of Egypt's 2030 vision. Additionally, it sought to identify the role of educational institutions in promoting these values among their students. A group of values derived from Egypt's 2030 vision were presented to a sample of 410 members of the teaching staff in Egyptian universities. The research identified a range of supportive values for the cultural development of the New Republic, including social responsibility, appreciation of national achievements and pride in them, and alignment with the political leadership, among others.
