Abstract

The aim of the current research is to know the level of cultural intelligence and its relationship to attitude towards the internationalization of university education among a sample of faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University. The research used the descriptive analytical method, and the basic study sample consisted of (269) faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University in the second term of the academic year 2022/2023 AD, and the researchers applied the scale of the attitude towards the internationalization of university education (prepared by the researchers), and the scale of cultural intelligence (prepared by the researchers). The results of the study concluded that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between cultural intelligence (total score and dimensions) and the trend towards internationalization of university education (total score and dimensions) among faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University on the scale of the cultural intelligence (total score, dimensions) due to the gender variable (male - female) in favor of males, and that there are no statistically significant differences between The average scores of faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University on the scale of the cultural (total score, dimensions) are due to the type of faculty variable (theory - scientific), and the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University on the scale of the cultural intelligence (total degree) due to the degree variable (assistant staff, teacher, assistant professor and professor), favor of teacher and that The cultural intelligence can be predicted by the scores of faculty members and their assistants at Al-Azhar University on the scale of attitude towards the internationalization of university education.
