Internationalization of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers "Sheikh Zayed Center at Al-Azhar University as a model"

Abstract

The aim of the research is to highlight the role of the Sheikh Zayed Center for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in teaching Arabic internationally. In it, and to achieve the goal of the study, it proceeded within the framework of the following axes The first, the factors that led to the establishment of the Sheikh Zayed Center, the second; The reality of the international efforts provided by the center, and the study concluded with recommendations to improve the internationalization of Arabic language education, and the research concluded: The Sheikh Zayed Center contributed to the internationalization of Arabic language education through distance education during the Corona pandemic period, and was able to reach European countries (America). Mexico, Japan, Russia, Uzbekistan) This is in contrast to a group of countries that send their students constantly, especially East Asia and Africa, and thus the nationalities that study at the Sheikh Zayed Center have reached more than sixty nationalities, and the number of graduates of the center since its establishment in 2010 AD until now has reached about 40,000 students, and all of these are ambassadors of Al-Azhar and Arabic in their country.
