Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of using Tabata exercises on developing the components of physical fitness for handball players, and the experimental method was used. The study sample consisted of (40) players in Jordan, born in 2002/2003 for the 2020/2021 season, who were chosen by the intentional method. They were divided into two groups, a control group trained in the traditional way followed by training, and an experimental group trained using the proposed Tabata training program. The following tests were used to collect study data: Sargent's test to measure the muscular ability of the two men, and a test of pushing a 3 kg medicine ball to measure the muscular ability of the arms, and a 30-meter running test From moving start to measure translational velocity, the Barrow test to measure agility, and the numbered circuit test to measure compliance. The study concluded that there were statistically significant differences between the members of the experimental group (Tabata exercises) and the control group (traditional) in developing the components of physical fitness related to handball in favor of the experimental group. And the proposed training program for workers in the field of training in handball.
