The role of principals of general education schools in applying the dimensions of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate 'Proposed concept'

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop a proposed vision for the role of principals of general education schools in applying the dimensions of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate. The members of the research sample on the role of principals of general education schools in applying the altruistic dimension of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah governorate came to a 'significant' degree; Where the arithmetic mean was (4.12), and the standard deviation reached (0.68), the agreement of the research sample on the role of principals of general education schools in applying the civility dimension of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate was to a 'very large' degree; Where the arithmetic mean was (4.22), and the standard deviation reached (0.87), the agreement of the research sample members on the role of principals of general education schools in applying the civilized behavior dimension of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate was to a 'significant' degree; Where the arithmetic mean was (3.69), and the standard deviation reached (0.67), the agreement of the research sample members about the role of principals of general education schools in applying the conscience awareness dimension of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate was to a large extent. Where the arithmetic mean was (4.13), and a standard deviation of (0.66). There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) between the responses of the research sample on the role of principals of general education schools in the application of (after altruism, after civility, after Civilized behavior, awareness of conscience) of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate is attributed to the variables of the current job, years of experience, and type of school. A proposed vision for the role of principals of general education schools in applying the dimensions of organizational citizenship in Sarat Abidah Governorate was reached. A number of proposals were proposed, including: a comparative study of the application of organizational citizenship dimensions in public education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and some foreign countries, and a study of the relationship between the application of organizational citizenship dimensions in secondary schools and the reduction of job burnout in general education schools, and a proposed training program for secondary school principals.
