Abstract

The study aimed to clarify the role of the teacher in educating secondary school students on the purposes of Islamic Sharia, The most prominent of its educational applications, clarifying the importance of the secondary school, its most prominent objectives, and clarifying the most important characteristics that characterize secondary school students, while linking them to the purposes of Islamic Sharia, The study used the fundamentalist and descriptive approaches, and reached several results, the most important of which are: a statement of the importance of the secondary stage in building a person; Because of its multiple roles in the upbringing of students during adolescence, as it is an intermediate educational stage between basic education and university education, through which students can determine their educational path later, The study also showed that the purposes of Islamic Sharia are the goals and intended ruling behind the legislation of rulings, which aim to achieve human interests in the world and the hereafter, and it shares with Islamic education in terms of caring for the human being, as he is the focus of each of them; Therefore, the study of the educational aspect of the purposes of Islamic Sharia contributes to the consolidation of the relationship between Sharia and education, both of which aim at the happiness of the individual and society, and preservation of order and the reconstruction of the world with everything that leads to goodness and human perfection; Especially with the response of these purposes to the characteristics of secondary school students. Hence, the study recommended paying attention to intentional education in all educational levels, with an attempt to integrate knowledge among all academic subjects; To consolidate the objectives of Islamic Sharia in the hearts of students, as well as to establish the principle of searching for solutions to social and economic problems within the framework of the purposes of Islamic Sharia.
