Thinking styles and their relationship to the performance of quality tasks among faculty stuff at the University of Hail

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the relationship between thinking styles and the performance of quality work among faculty members at the University of Hail, and the differences between faculty members in the performance of quality work according to gender, specialization and number of years of experience. The sample consisted of 212 males and females from the humanities and scientific using the descriptive correlative approach. The study tools consisted of a scale of thinking styles and a questionnaire about the performance of a faculty stuff for quality tasks prepared by the researcher. The results concluded that there is correlation between all styles of thinking and the performance of faculty stuff for quality tasks, except for the realistic thinking style, and the levels of thinking were very good. Except for realistic thinking, their level is good. There are also differences in levels of thinking in favor of those who assume quality tasks, and in the scale as a whole, except for realistic thinking and differences in levels of thinking in favor of those with high quality performance, except for realistic thinking, And there are no differences between faculty members in the performance of quality work due to gender, except for academic courses in favor of females, and differences in the performance of faculty members at the program level in favor of humanitarian specializations and differences in favor of those with experience from 2-5, 5 and more.
