Strategic improvisation and its relationship to Job Embeddedness of academic leaders at the University of Hail

Abstract

        The current research aims to identify the relationship between the strategic improvisation of academic leaders at the University of Hail and Job Embeddednessfrom the leaders' point of view, using the descriptive approach and the questionnaire as a source of data collection to measure performance. The questionnaires were applied to (45) respondents, and the statistical analysis was done using the (SPSS) program. One of the most important results of the research is that proved a positive correlation between the strategic improvisation of academic leaders and Job Embeddedness at the level of dimensions and the overall score, and the values ​​of the correlation coefficients were at the level of dimensions and sum, It was between (0.333 - 0.830), all of which are statistically significant, and this indicates that strategic improvisation has an important and effective role in universities' endeavors to enhance their capabilities and achieve their strategic goals, and work to develop their competitive capabilities in a stable organizational climate.
