Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the relationship between the attitude towards blended learning and each of: academic resilience and academic motivation, and the possibility of predicting the attitude towards blended learning through academic resilience and academic motivation, and to stand on the differences in the attitude towards blended learning in light of the variables: gender, place of residence, and gender of previous education. The research sample consisted of (721) male and female students from the Educational Rehabilitation Program at the Faculty of Education for Boys in Cairo - Al-Azhar University, with an average age of (26.82) and a standard deviation of (5.57). The research tools were the measure of attitude towards blended learning, and the measure of academic motivation, which were prepared by the two researchers, in addition to the measure of academic resilience (prepared by Muhammad Farraj, 2020). Using the correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and analysis of variance, the results revealed that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation between the attitude towards blended learning and both academic resilience and academic motivation. There are statistically significant differences in the attitude towards blended learning according to the variables of gender and place of residence, while it was found that there are statistically significant differences in the attitude towards blended learning according to the variable of the type of previous education (Azhari – non-Azhari) in favor of non-Azhari students. The results were discussed and interpreted with some proposals and recommendations presented.
