Abstract

The objective of the research was to reveal the effectiveness of using Self-Regulated Learning strategies on the development of historical research skills among the students of the History Department of the Faculty of Arabic Language,Al- Azhar University, and the research group consisted of (30) students,Use the experimental design based on a single group by tribal and post-measurement, and a list of historical research skills, has been prepared, a trainer's guide and a guide for the participant have been prepared, and research tools were built to test historical research skills,Applied to the research group tribally, then the application of the research was carried out and applied after, and the results confirmed the existence of statistically significant differences between the average grades of students research group in the tribal and remote application of the historical research skills test at the level of indication (0.05) in favor of the remote application, The results of the magnitude of the impact were in the historical research skills test (0.98) which confirms the effectiveness of the use ofSelf-Regulated Learning strategies, and The research recommendations emphasized the need for attention to the development of historical skills among Students of TheHistory Department of the Faculty of Arabic Language,Al- Azhar University.
