An educational vision for financing alternatives in Egyptian universities In light of the concept of the productive university

Abstract

       The study sought to highlight the financing alternatives, clarify the sources of self-financing in university education, and clarify the philosophy of the productive university in terms of its importance, objectives, foundations and roles, in order to put forward an educational vision for the financing alternatives in Egyptian universities in the light of the concept of the productive university. The study used the descriptive approach to achieve its objectives. The vision came in three axes according to the functions of the university, which are: funding alternatives for teaching and rehabilitation, which include: continuing education, distance education, open education, parallel education, evening studies, programs and training courses, and funding alternatives for scientific research, including: contractual research, Entrepreneurial formula, research partnership, research chairs, business incubators, research parks,  And financing alternatives for community service, including: productive activities, scientific consultations, awareness programs, investment of university facilities, and marketing of university services.
