Abstract

Network organization is considered one of the important factors in cooperation between academic institutions and private sector institutions, and its importance stems from several considerations, the most important of which is that academic institutions need to combine and pool their forces if they want to play the role assigned to them and strive towards achieving their societal role to the fullest, which contributes to achieving contemporary development goals. Some universities in developed countries have given research and development programs special attention, by providing the appropriate scientific environment in which scientific research can grow and flourish, and provided the necessary funding and equipment, as it is an excellent environment for scientific creativity, knowledge development, enrichment and dissemination, and seeking to employ it to solve problems. Without it, the university becomes just an educational tool for science and knowledge produced by others, and the concept of a productive university means that the university undertakes additional activities for the basic functions it performs, and expands these functions, which leads to the achievement of financial resources whose benefit is reflected on the university, its employees and the community It should be noted that the concept of a productive university emphasizes increasing the university’s productive activities and raising the bar The internal and external levels of university education through marketing its products, services, research and material capabilities, in a manner that does not conflict with the general concept of the university and its primary role in education, scientific research and community service, but it goes beyond that to the practice of productive activities appropriate to the educational process, and follow-up problems of production and development in The field of work, which will provide it with financial resources that reduce its dependence on external financing, and enhance its role and developmental functions in society.
