The Features of Educational Justice in Islam: An Analytical Study

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the features of educational justice in Islam, and the research used the fundamentalist approach. It included three main focuses, the first: the importance of justice in the Islamic perception; the second: clarification of the most important pillars of educational justice in Islam; the third: revealing the most prominent features of educational justice. The results of the research  revealed that the educational justice is one of the forms of justice in its general sense, which has its roots in Islamic education and Islamic educational thought that aims to achieve education for all individuals of different colors, genders, languages ​​and social status, within the framework of the right to Education, which Islam guarantees for all individuals, and that Islamic education attached great importance to justice and considered it one of its highest goals. The research also concluded that the educational justice is based on divineness, universality, freedom, and respect for human rights, as well as a set of parameters for educational justice and its applications in the university education, and the most important of which are: equality, equal opportunities, taking into account individual differences, comprehensive education for all aspects, diversity of methods of education, free education, and a variety of evaluation.
