The Status-quo of Managing and Organizing Technical Supervision in Al-Azhar Institutes: An Empirical Study

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the status-quo of managing and organizing technical supervision in Al-Azhar institutes. The study used the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was used as an instrument for collecting data. The study showed that the degree of availability of the total dimensions of the status-quo of administrative processes for technical guidance in Al-Azhar Institutes is at a “medium” level. As for the administrative processes, there was a discrepancy in the degree of availability of administrative processes for technical guidance in Al-Azhar institutes, where the dimension of organization came in the first place with a “medium” degree followed by the dimension of evaluation in the second place with a "medium" degree, followed by the dimension of guidance in the third place with a degree of "medium". The dimension of planning comes in the last rank. With regard to the development proposals, the degree of approval of the total proposals for the development of administrative processes for technical guidance in Al-Azhar Institutes comes at the level of “high” from the viewpoints of the study sample. The study reached many recommendations, the most important of which were: Paying attention to developing the management and organization of technical supervision, through the establishment of a general administration for the plan and data in the institutes sector.
