The Role of Some Syndicalism Organizations in Reducing the Problem of Unemployment among Technical Education Graduates

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the status-quo of the organizational performance of the Applied Technical Professions Syndicate in the face of unemployment problems among technical education graduates as an applied education in terms of identifying the programs and services provided by the Applied Technical Professions Syndicate in reducing unemployment for graduates of technical education and identifying the obstacles facing this syndicalism organization in its ability to deal with the unemployment problem of this category. The study tried to develop a vision from the perspective of how society is organized to reduce the unemployment problem of this category of graduates. Therefore, the current study will attempt to answer the questions of the study, tackling the status-quo of the organizational performance of the Syndicate of Applied Technical Professions in facing the problem of unemployment among graduates of technical education as an applied education, as well as the programs and services provided by the Applied Technical Syndicate in reducing unemployment for graduates of technical education; in addition to the obstacles facing this syndicalism organization in its ability to deal with the unemployment problem of this category, and then come up with a suggested proposal from the perspective of how society organizes to reduce the problem of unemployment in this category. The category of graduates, and the study relied on the (case study approach) and the research was administered to a sample consisting of (100) members of the Syndicate of Applied Technical Sub-Professions in Sohag Governorate. The study reached the following results: There are shortcomings in the programs offered by the Technical Professions Syndicate to its members who are graduates of technical education, and the results of the study showed that there are shortcomings in the services provided by the union to its members.
