The Effectiveness of a Proposed Electronic Program Based on the Use of the Animated Electronic Story in Developing Life Skills Related to the Computer among Al-Azhar Fourth Grade Primary Pupils

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to develop computer-related life skills for fourth-grade students of Al-Azhar primary through an electronic program based on the use of the moving electronic story in developing cognitive achievement and life skills related to computer skills among a sample of fourth-grade students in the primary stage in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. The experimental treatment was an electronic program based on the moving electronic story, and the basic research sample consisted of (36) pupils of the fourth grade of primary Al-Azhar at the Nasr City Primary School Model Institute. The research used the quasi-experimental approach to assess the impact of independent variables on the dependent variables, and one of the most important findings of the research is the presence of a statistically significant effect on the cognitive side and the practical performance side in favor of post measurement. The research recommended benefiting from the list of skills that were prepared in the research and making use of the moving electronic story in teaching primary school students’ various courses.
