A practical program in civic education for adolescents - a model in training

Abstract

       The training program aimed to provide adolescents with concepts, values, standards and skills of civic education by using expressive activities for adolescents represented in dialogue and discussion activities, songs and chants activities, role-playing activities, story activities, artistic expression activities, and kinetic expression activities., puppetry activities, mental map activities, through a series of training sessions that adolescents are trained on, in addition to identifying the effectiveness of the training program for developing the concepts and behaviors of national education among the stressed category in achieving its goals. This training program consists of three Parts according to the school grade, starting with the first secondary grade, then the second secondary, and then the third secondary. Each part includes topics appropriate for this age group specifically, with a focus on the interrelationship of topics from one part to another, and the first part includes: concepts related to national education, its importance, its objectives, its components, the foundations on which it is based, its dimensions. and the educational contents contained therein. While the second part includes: the values ​​embodied in national education represented in tolerance and peaceful coexistence with the sons of the country - national belonging - social justice - community participation - social responsibility. The third part includes: the skill related to civic education represented in participation in decision-making, voluntary work, social role, the concept of misguided thought, misguided thought and moderate thought, the concept of communication, the ability to solve problems, then the guide ends by ending the sessions and conducting a telemetry.
