The degree of digital leadership practice by secondary school principals in Khamis Mushait Governorate

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the degree to which secondary school principals practice digital leadership in Khamis Mushait Governorate, and to develop a number of mechanisms and recommendations for their development. The research used the survey method and questionnaire as a tool for research; It was applied to a sample of (40) female secondary school principals in Khamis Mushait Governorate; The research reached several results, including: The degree of practice of secondary school principals in the dimension of innovation for digital leadership in Khamis Mushait Governorate came to a 'large' degree; Where the arithmetic mean was (3.36), and the standard deviation was (0.61); After the digital leadership persuasion came to a degree 'significant'; Where the arithmetic mean was (4.31), and the standard deviation was (1.12); After knowledge of digital leadership, it came with a 'large' score; Where the arithmetic mean was (3.56), and the standard deviation was (1.81). The research reached a number of recommendations, including defining the general objective of the process of practicing the innovation dimension of digital leadership for the province of Khamis Mushait, and announcing it to all school staff, and providing technical capabilities to activate the dimension of innovation for the digital leadership of the province of Khamis Mushait, such as computers and mobile phones, and forming teams to organize the practice after Persuasion of digital leadership in the Khamis Mushait governorate and away from centralization and the formation of sub-working teams responsible for implementation, preparing plans, programs and future projects in secondary schools to practice after persuasion of digital leadership, and holding meetings, seminars and meetings to raise awareness for school staff of the importance of secondary school principals practicing the dimension of knowledge of digital leadership, and involving all Educational media from journalism, radio and school theater in spreading the knowledge dimension of digital leadership < strong>.
