Quality Of Life and Self-Esteem Among Breast Cancer Patients at University Of Jordan Hospital

Abstract

The aim of the current study is to identify the level of quality of life and self-esteem among breast cancer patients at the University of Jordan Hospital , To achieve the objectives of the study, a sample of (371) women diagnosed with breast cancer who attended outpatient clinics at the University of Jordan Hospital was selected, the translation of the quality of life and self-esteem scales to fit this study, their psychometric properties were verified, and the study was applied to the facilitating sample in the year (2021). The results of the study concluded that the level of quality of life and self-esteem was at medium degree among the study sample, and that there was a direct correlation between quality of life and self-esteem, The study reached a number of recommendations, including the preparation of courses and instructional lectures for cancer patients to dimensions to raise their level of self-esteem and quality of life.
