Abstract

The study aimed at identifying requirements of the educational system of expatriate students in pre-university education with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. The study used the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information on the degree to which the quality of input, processes and output of the pre-university student education system has been achieved. The study sample consisted of 150 teachers of Islamic Missions Institutes and Institutes of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. The results of the study showed that the quality of the elements of the education system for expatriate students in Islamic Missions Institutes was average. In terms of the dimensions of inputs, the dimensions of goals and the admission system were significantly higher, followed by the dimension of teachers in the second rank with a large degree of availability, and the dimensions of policies and legislation in the third rank with a medium degree of availability, while the dimensions of buildings and equipment came in the last rank with a medium degree of availability. In Terms of processes, the dimension of the teaching and learning processes came in the first with a moderate degree, followed by the dimension of evaluation and examination processes in the second rank with a moderate degree of availability, followed by the dimension of administrative processes in the last rank with a moderate degree of availability. The study concluded with many recommendations, the most important of which were: Offering courses for expatriate students in both Arabic and English, increasing the number of Al-Azhar scholarships for expatriate students, holding many academic educational partnerships among Islamic Missions Institutes and other global educational institutions working in the same field.
