Abstract

The present study aimed at investigating the effect of interaction between the content presentation pattern (electronic/ Augmented) and the cognitive style of the learner (tolerant /intolerant of ambiguity) on the immediate and delayed achievement of technological concepts among the second stage students of basic education. The researcher introduced the electronic content via two methods: The first is the (electronic) content presentation pattern based on the E-learning management system Moodle, and the second is the (Augmented) content presentation pattern based on the Augmented reality pattern. The participants of the study consisted of (60) students who were divided into four groups, each group with (15) students, Results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the content presentation pattern (electronic/ Augmented) in developing the immediate and delayed achievement of learners. Also, it showed the effect of interaction between the content presentation pattern (electronic/ Augmented) with the cognitive style (tolerant/intolerant of ambiguity) on immediate cognitive achievement and the delayed one for technological concepts in favor of the (Augmented) content presentation pattern and the learner’s cognitive style (tolerant of ambiguity).
